ATA Carnet Requirement for International Participants
All international teams, vendors, or participants bringing equipment or goods temporarily into Türkiye for the event must obtain an ATA Carnet from the Chamber of Commerce in their home country.
The ATA Carnet serves as an international customs document that permits the tax-free and duty-free temporary importation of goods. It is mandatory that:
The ATA Carnet document is issued by the official Chamber of Commerce in the country of origin.
The ATA Carnet number, issuing country, validity date, and other relevant details (including the list and value of goods) are clearly written and accurate.
The holder of the Carnet or their representative carries the original ATA Carnet when crossing the Turkish border.
Participants must also complete a pre-declaration online, with their passport numbers, through the Turkish Ministry of Trade’s e-ATA portal within 48 hours before arrival at the Turkish border: https://uygulama.gtb.gov.tr/eATA/#/login
No account needs to be created; to access the portal, participants simply need to enter their passport number.
As part of this process, you are required to upload photographs of every item listed on your ATA Carnet. Please note that the system allows a maximum of 5 document uploads per ATA Carnet, so we recommend combining all item photos into a single PDF file to ensure everything is uploaded at once.
Please refer to the instructional video above for a detailed walkthrough of the process.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in delays or refusal of entry at customs. For assistance, please contact the Organising Committee.
All participants and team members arriving by air can fly into one of the two main airports serving the event region.
By Air
Antalya Airport (AYT) Antalya Airport is the primary international gateway to the region, located west of Manavgat. It serves a vast number of international and domestic flights. The airport is approximately 65 km from Manavgat, with an estimated travel time of 60 minutes by car.
Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport (GZP) Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport is a smaller airport located east of Manavgat, offering a convenient alternative with flights from several international destinations. The airport is located approximately 105 km from Manavgat, with an estimated travel time of 90 minutes by car.
Official Welcome Desk
An official event Welcome Desk will be located in the international arrivals hall of both Antalya (AYT) and Alanya-Gazipaşa (GZP) airports. Our staff at the desk will be available to provide information and assist you with directions to the official transfers. Please look for the event signage upon exiting the baggage claim area.
To ensure a smooth arrival, the Organising Committee has arranged transfer services from both Antalya (AYT) and Alanya-Gazipaşa (GZP) airports.
For Participants in Official Hotels
The Organising Committee is pleased to offer complimentary (free) transfers for all teams and participants who have booked their accommodation in one of the official event hotels.
Free Oars Transport: This complimentary service also includes the transportation of your private oars from the airport directly to the event venue/storage area. Booking Procedure: To use this service, you must provide your full flight details (flight number, arrival date, and time) through the official registration form. For Participants in Other Accommodation
Participants not staying in the official event hotels can request a private transfer service. For a personalized offer and booking, please contact our transportation desk at accommodation@tkf.gov.tr
Alternative Transportation Options
If you wish to arrange your own transport, please consider the following options:
Airport Shuttle Bus (HAVAŞ) Shared shuttle buses operate from the airports to the Manavgat area. However, please be aware that they run on a limited schedule, and seats cannot be booked in advance. Due to this uncertainty, we do not highly recommend this option for teams carrying equipment or having fixed schedules.
Taxi Taxis are readily available outside the terminals of both airports. The approximate one-way fare to the Manavgat area is:
From Antalya Airport (AYT): €90 – €100
From Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport (GZP): €130 – €140
Please note that these are estimated fares and can vary based on traffic, exact destination, and time of day.
There will be a daily shuttle service between the OC hotels and regatta venue for the teams who have booked their accommodation through the OC.
Please note that a valid accreditation card is mandatory to board all official shuttles.
Shuttle Schedule and Routes
The most up-to-date shuttle schedule, routes, and stop locations will be available through our dedicated digital platform. This system ensures you always have access to the latest information, including any real-time updates.
You can easily access the platform by scanning the QR code which can be found on:
The back of your official accreditation card.
Information boards and signage at the event venue and official hotels.
For participants wishing to explore the region independently during their free time, here is some information on local transportation options. The primary method of payment for most public transport is the “Antalyakart”.
Antalyakart (Public Transport Card) The Antalyakart is a reloadable smart card required for travel on public buses and trams throughout the Antalya province, including Manavgat. You can purchase and top-up a card from authorized kiosks and vending machines found at major bus stops and central locations.
Local Bus & Tram Services In Manavgat (Event Area) Please note that public transportation within the Manavgat area consists of public buses and local minibuses (dolmuş). There are no tram or train systems in the immediate vicinity of the event. These bus services connect the main parts of the town and are the primary means of local travel. In Antalya City Center (approx. 70 km away) If you are planning a day trip to the Antalya city center, you will find a more extensive public transport network. This includes the modern tram system (Antray), which is an excellent way to explore key attractions such as the Old Town (Kaleiçi).
Taxis Taxis offer a convenient option for direct travel. You can find them at official taxi ranks located at hotels and busy centers. For reliable service and easy payment, we recommend using mobile applications like ‘BiTaksi’. Always ensure the driver activates the taximeter at the start of your journey. It is advisable to have Turkish Lira (TRY) for payment.
Car Rental
For participants who prefer the flexibility of their own vehicle, numerous car rental companies operate at both Antalya (AYT) and Alanya-Gazipaşa (GZP) airports. Major international and local brands are available. We recommend booking your vehicle in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak travel times.
Venue Parking Information Please be advised that parking capacity at the event venue is extremely limited.
Due to these limitations, on-site parking will be exclusively reserved for accredited participants who are staying in one of the official event hotels. Eligible participants will receive a special Parking Permit Card from the Organising Committee (OC) at their hotel. This permit must be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard to grant access to the designated parking area.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee parking at the venue for participants staying in other accommodation. We highly recommend these participants use the official Event Shuttle Services or alternative transportation methods.
To help you navigate the event with ease, we have prepared an interactive map below highlighting all key locations. The map currently includes essential points like the airports and the main event venue, along with their contact information. The names and specific locations of our official hotels will be added to this map in the coming days. Please check back for updates.
